| I opened an Edgars account and received these supposed vouchers.I was told to present the first one at the till if I made a purchase of over R1000 and I would get R300 off my purchase.I purchased items to the value of R2500 but the cashier told me that I would not be able to use the voucher as some of the childrens clothes I bought were already discounted.I asked her why she had not billed these items separately since I had told her that I have a voucher and she advised that she could not see what items were discounted unless she scanned them.She went on to say that I would have to use my voucher on my next purchase of R1000 but that it had to be by the end of December!!! I opened my account on 24 Dec and spent R2500 now I was told that within the next 6days I would have to spend another R1000 inorder to get R300 off.That is totally ridiculous specially because the voucher is printed "valid for 3months only" yet the store said I have to use it within 6days. I am really dissapointed in Edgars.I am now sitting with a R300 voucher which is useless to me and I have two R100 vouchers which they will probably also give me an excuse as to why I can't use them. | |||||

Hello slizweni, Thank you for sharing your in store shopping experience with us. I have captured your complaint ref. 0301130095/GO and escalated to store management for further assistance regarding your voucher as the R300 off voucher when you spend R1000 is valid for the first purchase only. You can than received R100 of your next purchase of R300 or more and the other voucher you can receive another R100 off your purchase of R300 or more if you join club which I see you have joined.
