Debit order not deducted

My wife changed and paid her Dstv subscription on debit order because dstv say its better to pay your account that way. 1st March 2014 The money was not deducted. She phoned and ask them they said there weren't enough money in the account. Dstv only deduct on the 1st of every month they will deduct R933-00 on the next month. 1st April 2014 there was R1027-00 in her account and again the debit order didn't go off. She was on compact and on the 1st of April2014 she wanted to change to premium plan. The guy she spoke to told her the R933-00 was deducted and because she was on compact and want to go to permium plan she have to pay a pro rata extra. Now because they did not deduct for the previous month she have to pay R1200-00 re connection fees included and the R933-00 was in the bank. She used R90-00 airtime to get through but it is the fault of Dstv.

Hello Cello007,

We are unable to confirm or provide reasons for an Unpaid debit order. You will need to liaise with your Bank for further information.

Please refer to your personal e-mail address for a manual reconciliation of the subscription fees charged on your account and the amount payable to avoid the disconnection of your DStv services.
