My 42" LCD TV went in for repairs the first time in 2011 - it was not turning on. on the 9th December 2012 it went in for the second repair with the same fault and i got it back on the 22nd December 2012. Not even 3 weeks later it has now gone in for the 3 repair on same fault - Unit not turning on. I have requested a credit on the unit but Sinotec have refused because it is out of the warranty and said i need to have it repaired and will give me a 3 month warranty on the repairs. So the next time it needs to go in for repairs for same fault it will be at my expense and i think that is unfair on Sinotec considering it is a Manufacturing fault with TV so i must pay the price for firstly not having tv to watch and will have to pay for repairs every time it breaks. What i do not understand is why does Sinotec not FIX the Manufacturing default problem with the TV seen as though there are quite a few complaints from customers instead they just fix the problem temporarely and after a while it is faulty once again. Not a happy customer and will in future persuade any one i see looking at a Sinotec TV to NOT purchase as they will have countless problems. |

Hello cynthiaelliott, We apologise for the inconvenience and fully understand your frustrations. However, as any Company in this industry, we are obligated to follow the guidelines of certain policy and procedure to ensure that each customer is dealt with fairly and within the scope of our means. This said, the policy is that we will exchange the set after the third repair during the 5 year warranty period, and as your set only went faulty once during that period we are unable to exchange it. But, as a gesture of good will we did repair it at no extra charge and will do so again and give you a three month guarantee on this repair.
