Do not buy at Spur Vanderbijlpark
|On Friday 10/05/2013 we decided to go out to dinner at our local Spur in Vanderbijlpark. We have heard rumours before that this Spur's portions are very small and we have even heard from family that portions of meat/chicken are being cut in halve. We experienced this for ourselves, our portions were very small and we could see that a portion of our crumbed chicken has been cut off. When I confronted the waitress about the issue she just laughed it off. So the rumour is true do not support the Spur in Vanderbijlpark and I do understand that both the Spurs in Vanderbijlpark belong to the same owner so please do not support any one of these two Spurs!|

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and the rumours that are being spread about the two Spur restaurants in Vanderbijlpark. We are alarmed to read this allegation and assure you that we will investigate and address this as a matter of urgency.
All Spurs should be following a set standard ensuring that regardless of which Spur you visit (in Cape Town, Durban or Gauteng), the meal you receive should be consistent and of a high standard. If the staff at these 2 restaurants are tampering with this standard it will be viewed in a very serious light! We apologise to you and your family for any inconvenience caused and assure you that we will be in touch shortly to offer feedback.
