I recently bought a Verimark Floorwizz mop and within one month the handle had snapped and the seams of the mop head had ripped. I went and bought ANOTHER one and within 2 weeks the handle snapped in the exact same place and I could see the stitching coming undone on the mop head. I decided to take both mops to my local Verimark store to show them the faults and see if I could get a replacement. The store attendants refused to offer any help due to the absence of a receipt (despite the fact that it is clearly a Verimark product - how can other stores like Mr.Price and Ackermans take their products back without a receipt but Verimark cannot!?) and the best they could do was offer me the customer service telephone number. The store attendants were very quick to tell me that they would get in trouble if they offered any replacement product. I asked what the customer service could do or offer over the telephone and why this was better, to which they replied "We don't know". For a company that emphasizes "guarantees" on their products as their main selling pitch, this is not acceptable. I have wasted R200 on Verimark two products and was shown NO effort or reciprocation from Verimark |

| Not Impressed: When they called they told me I need to go through my bank statements to find proof of my purchase and until I can find this they cannot help. In their feedback above they say nothing about this and incidently never mentioned the above to me in the telephone call. They are just trying to look good for the public! When i mentioned that the customer should come first i was told that this is business and if they always put the customer first they would go bankrupt. Verimark!?!? Really?!?! | |||||
