I contacted a company listed in the Homemakers Fair - Wondercoat Wall & Roof Coating Company and requested a rep to come out and give me a quote; eventually after many "rescheduled" appointments from their rep, Jacques, another rep, Andre, arrived and surveyed my area requiring damp-proofing and painting and duly quoted me - on the BACK of HIS BUSINESS CARD!!! I was promised a more formal and complete quote within a few days. I phoned them @ least 7 times asking for this quote and enquiring if they actually wanted the business??? I was promised that the owner/director would contact me directly to rectify my unhappiness and submit the quote. That never transpired!!!! I decided to pop into their offices to get the quote and discuss my options, only to discover that they are NOT the ORIGINAL WONDERCOAT, but are using WONDERCOAT's name and good reputation to try drum up business. The ORIGINAL COMPANY; WONDERCOAT WALL & ROOF COATINGS is still very much in existence and still providing the excellent service and professionalism that I have come to know; I just hope this other "company" under Rob Long doesn't damage their reputation and image too much. |
