And to make it even easier for you, we’ll recommend great brands and businesses for you to follow and help you decide which ones to avoid.

The hpi is hellopeter.com’s industry standard barometer for measuring the health of an organisation’s customer service. Controlled by a proprietary set of algorithms that measures a wide range of corporate activities (number of reviews, sentiment, rating, response time and conversions) the hpi will accurately rank and rate businesses according to their customer service worth. Every business will have an index rating which will give you the ability to quickly compare and benchmark any business - taking easy and informed decision making to a whole new level!

Absolutely free for consumers! It costs zero to share your brand experiences, interact with businesses or to use the platform for the highly valuable and independent content, which assists consumers in making trusted decisions.

No. As much as we are aware that consumers are more likely to write negative reviews than positive reviews, we strongly recommend and encourage consumers to share all brand experiences. Businesses would love nothing more than to see positive reviews or conversions when it’s deserved. This is so important to us that we’ve even created a rewards programme for consumers, where all your interactions on hellopeter.com will earn you points. There is no limit to the number of reviews you can write. However, you can only write one review about the same issue (unless the same issue relates to a separate experience). You are entitled to unlimited add-ons on a review. So once a business has responded, be sure to engage with them as many times as you like until hopefully they convert you into a happy customer ☺

We only share your contact information with the business that you have reviewed, or businesses that you have requested help from.

You will receive alerts in your notifications as soon as a business has responded. You will also receive email communication notifying you that the business has responded.

Free and paid business subscribers of hellopeter.com will be notified immediately of your review and be able to respond. We only share your contact information with paid business subscribers that you have reviewed. If you have reviewed a business that is not a subscriber and you provide us with their email address, we will be sure to notify them of the review you published.

You can privately engage with a business utilising LiveQ&A (if the business has enabled this function). After you have published a review, you can privately engage utilising LiveReview or you can publish private review responses.

Yes. The more information we gather about businesses the more you help others to make trusted decisions. The greater the exposure and awareness the more chance of ensuring your issues are dealt with effectively and efficiently.

With our advanced search functions you can now search for a business in any category and location.

No. Once a review has been published a user cannot delete the review.

No. Once a review has been published a user cannot change the content of the review. You can however publish as many ad-on's to your review as you like.

Yes you can, but not automatically. In order to change your business name you will need to email us with a motivation as to why you are wanting to change the name and we will facilitate this for you.

Yes. Based on the business response you have the power to change the star rating. This is something we highly recommend and encourage – give credit where credit is due and take the time to increase your rating if you are satisfied and happy! What’s more - we’ll even reward you for taking the time to increase your rating!

Absolutely. Anyone can comment on any review. The more exposure and awareness the better! This drives businesses to ensure they adequately deal with the issues at hand and also provides useful information to other consumers who are trying to make trusted and credible decisions.

All your reviews that you publish will automatically be shared with your friends on hellopeter.com. You can also choose to share any review that you read with peeps you think will be interested.

If a business has not responded to your review within 36 hours, or you not happy with a businesses response, you can utilise our new “HelpRequest” feature. This notifies competitors who subscribe to our HelpRequest programme that you require help and they will be sure to inbox message you an alternative solution to fix your problem! If you want to take advantage of any offer, simply click on the offer and enter into a chat, or connect with the business offline.

hellopeter.com acts as a gateway between the consumer and business. We cannot force businesses to respond, however no responses or delays in responses will negatively impact their hpi. We also have introduced a new feature called “HelpRequest” – If a business has not responded to your review within 36 hours, or if you are not happy with a businesses response you will be able to utilise the “HelpRequest” feature. This notifies competitors who subscribe to our Help Request programme that you require help and they will be sure to inbox message you an alternative solution to fix your problem!

You are entitled to unlimited add-ons on a review. Please do not write another review about the same issue (unless this is a separate experience). So once a business has responded be sure to engage with them as many times as you like until hopefully they convert you into a happy customer. Alternatively, utilise our “HelpRequest” feature and see what alternative solutions their competitors have to offer.

NO! Businesses who subscribe are sent your contact information once you have published a review about them. Although businesses that do not subscribe are able to respond to reviews, they are not entitled to receive your contact information. We will have no option but to blacklist consumers who breach our T&C’s by publicly providing their contact information.

Yes. Every review posted is published on hellopeter.com.

hellopeter.com ranks business search results utilising a combination of the hpi and our location-based software. We try to return results filtered by the highest hpi closest to your location. If we are unable to determine your location, we simply return results based on the hpi. You will also see “sponsored listings” when you search for a business or industry. These are “sponsored listings” that are paid for by businesses.

Business and industry search result pages often feature one or more clearly labeled sponsored Ads or sponsored listings, but hellopeter.com’s numbered search results (all of the other listings in white background) have absolutely nothing to do with who is paying us. These are simply ranked by your hpi. Very simply, you are in control of this – the higher your hpi, the higher your ranking.
