I would like to commend Zolani at HOSTAFRICA for his sterling support with regards on my recent domain transfers.
He completed my requests telephonically after months of trying to have my domains transferred from another service provider who shall remain nameless because they dont deserve the advertising this post may give them (sounds like host africa but isnt). I almost lost it with HostAfrica for no reason whatsoever only to find out the other ISP had not followed thru with their end of the deal.
HostAfrica has made the move brilliantly and gets 5 STARS for their efforts.
Zolani gets 50 STARS.

Host Africa Migration Process

MTN CONTRACT.... But I Must Deal with.. .MONDO.. Who the heck is MONDO
Hi... Updated on MTN online 14/03. PROMISED 20GB anytime data was not ativated. Called MTN to query and was told that because I upgraded online,.they cannot help me. I must contact Mondo...I don't have a contract with Mondo... I upgraded online with MTN. My contract is with MTN. I have contacted Mondo(whoever they are) and, guess what.... Still no data 😭

Tobi the Bot to be replaced like the directors of Vodacom by Baboons
I have come to my ends with companies that think they are clever using chat bots. They are by far the most irritating part about moving into the future. And ehere it starts for mebis vodacom. Tobi is a C@#t. I am sorry to say i ewill be leaving Vodacom just because of him. I dont want to speak to a machine. And i can not get through to a human. And Vodacom are stealing from me and they hope because i dont speak to a human my problem goes away and i just leave it. Well sorry for them i will post a fantastic review like this for the rest of my life telling everyone how kak they are.
Hell man i am a programmer , i will right a multiplying bot that will post on the internet where ever it can how kak they are. I will do this g i am not contacted and my data and airtime is not replaced within one hour. The board of directors are all monkeys and they should go back to the zoo. And we should get the baboons there to come run vodacom. They will definitely do a better job and that will save more than 1000 call centre staff.

My device was ready for collection and I was not informed that the menlyn vodacom repair walk in store will be doing stock take abd they close at 7pm,I arrived at the store around 18:45pm to find the store closed and doing stock take I drove 30 minutes rushing to get the store open and whose gonna compensate me for my petrol,I think it's pathetic that I was not informed at all by the consultant who told me to come collect.i wanna be compensated for the inconvenience.

Terrible network bad customer service
I recently took out a mtn contract for home 10mg line lte and I'm having no joy.i work from home and can not utalise the wifi. Nor can I stream anything cant even video call. I called the contact center who advised I can change my speeds at any mtn branch which I did on Saturday 26th March and was advised that I can not change package and speeds. Maybe after three months. No guarantees. I fail to understand how mtn expects me to pay for 3 months with something that doesn't work still expect their money come month end yet I can't even do my work? I want a urgent call from higher management someone whom is going. To give solutions not pass the buck. This is unacceptable and I feel they cna just come and collect their router and cancel this contract I can take my business elsewhere. This is totally unacceptable my details are as follows

Telkom bad services
Firstly the lowest star i can rate is 1. Wish the stars could be in percentages. Telkom has the worst service ever. I have initially signed for up fibre only to be told once the tech arrived that theres no fibre in my area and i should take adsl coz fibre will b installed in a few days time. 2 years later i still dont have fibre and now have LTE however i am getting billed for fibre which is more expensive. Numerous calls and visits with no luck finally have decided to change service provider. Service is pathetic ,if you cant keep your paying customers happy how on earth are you guys still in business and still getting customers.

Cellc Home Connecta Rip Off
Cellc just literally stole my money on my home connecta sim. Loaded airtime to convert to data and immediately get sms's that I subscribed to cellc notifications which I've never even seen in my life and my accout was deducted.
They will say you buy 40G and you realize only after you buy that the other 20G is for night which you will not even use. Rip off

MTN doesn't honor upgrade promotion as advertised
I phoned MTN direct (from an MTN phone Dial 135) on 07/03/2022 to upgrade my current contract. I was advised by the person who assisted with my upgrade that Samsung is currently running a promotion and if I purchased or upgraded to a Samsung S21FE 5G contract, I would qualify for a Galaxy TAB A7 Lite. I proceeded to upgrade to the S21FE 5G purely for the reason that I required a Tablet for my son for his schoolwork.
I received my phone on Wednesday 9 March 2022, and uploaded the necessary documents on 10/03/2022 via the Samsung Members benefits where it states that redemption period ends on 14 March 2022. I called your call centre on 010 035 6688 on Friday 11/03/2022 at approximately 12h49, to establish if you had received the documentation required, I was informed documentation was well received, and I would receive an email by the end of business on Friday 11/03/2022. I did not receive such email. I called now and Sinikiwe from Samsung has advised that the MTN the promotion ended on 28/02/2022 and not as advertised by MTN on the 14th of March. I find this highly unacceptable, as I was initially advised by MTN on 07/03/2022 that I qualify for the FREE Tablet.
Although I have escalated this complaint to MTN Complaints and Customer Care, this issue remains unresolved. I have requested a copy of the call recording to confirm the statement as above and this has also just been ignored.
Kindly take this under advi*****t, and revert soonest, as I feel that I was mislead firstly by MTN, and secondly by your members website.

1 star because we cant give anything lower. We have, to no avail, tried to cancel 2 cell numbers which are no longer under contract and are not being used only to be told we cant and cannot cancel as its still in use. The contracts themselves have ended long ago but they refuse to cancel the numbers. I am looking at going to social media as well as lawyers to be back payed for all the costs. I am tired of dealing with incompotent money hungry thieves.

I have initially signed for up fibre only to be told once the tech arrived that theres no fibre in my area and i should take adsl coz fibre will b installed in a few days time. 2 years later i still dont have fibre and now have LTE however i am getting billed for fibre which is more expensive. Numerous calls and visits with no luck finally have decided to change service provider. Service is pathetic ,if you cant keep your paying customers happy how on earth are you guys still in business and still getting customers.

Cellc Home Connecta Rip Off
Cellc just literally stole my money on my home connecta sim. Loaded airtime to convert to data and immediately get sms's that I subscribed to cellc notifications which I've never even seen in my life and my accout was deducted.
They will say you buy 40G and you realize only after you buy that the other 20G is for night which you will not even use. Rip off

MTN doesn't honor upgrade promotion as advertised
I phoned MTN direct (from an MTN phone Dial 135) on 07/03/2022 to upgrade my current contract. I was advised by the person who assisted with my upgrade that Samsung is currently running a promotion and if I purchased or upgraded to a Samsung S21FE 5G contract, I would qualify for a Galaxy TAB A7 Lite. I proceeded to upgrade to the S21FE 5G purely for the reason that I required a Tablet for my son for his schoolwork.
I received my phone on Wednesday 9 March 2022, and uploaded the necessary documents on 10/03/2022 via the Samsung Members benefits where it states that redemption period ends on 14 March 2022. I called your call centre on 010 035 6688 on Friday 11/03/2022 at approximately 12h49, to establish if you had received the documentation required, I was informed documentation was well received, and I would receive an email by the end of business on Friday 11/03/2022. I did not receive such email. I called now and Sinikiwe from Samsung has advised that the MTN the promotion ended on 28/02/2022 and not as advertised by MTN on the 14th of March. I find this highly unacceptable, as I was initially advised by MTN on 07/03/2022 that I qualify for the FREE Tablet.
Although I have escalated this complaint to MTN Complaints and Customer Care, this issue remains unresolved. I have requested a copy of the call recording to confirm the statement as above and this has also just been ignored.
Kindly take this under advi*****t, and revert soonest, as I feel that I was mislead firstly by MTN, and secondly by your members website.

1 star because we cant give anything lower. We have, to no avail, tried to cancel 2 cell numbers which are no longer under contract and are not being used only to be told we cant and cannot cancel as its still in use. The contracts themselves have ended long ago but they refuse to cancel the numbers. I am looking at going to social media as well as lawyers to be back payed for all the costs. I am tired of dealing with incompotent money hungry thieves.
